Mark Coxon Morrison captained his country 15 times during his 23 cap career which lasted from 1896 to 1904. He made his debut for Scotland against Wales aged 18 in 1896. He became one of Scotland’s greatest ever rugby union forwards and captained the British Isles touring party to South Africa in 1903. Morrison retired from playing rugby when he was 29 to concentrate on farming. He was the president of the Scottish Rugby Union between 1934 and 1935.
